Our Mission
To be a beacon of light fostering a place of belonging rooted in God's love, his word and his call to community and service.
This is Christ's church. There is a place for you here.

This Week's Message
Pastor Wes Smith
Sermon Summary
The sermon focuses on God's call in our lives and our response to it, drawing primarily from Isaiah 6 and Luke 5:1-11. The pastor explores how God calls people to service in different ways, often despite their feelings of inadequacy or reluctance. Through examples from biblical figures like Isaiah, Moses, and the disciples, as well as modern examples like Jimmy Carter, the sermon emphasizes that God's call comes in everyday life and requires trust and openness to God's guidance.
Life Application
This week, take time each day to intentionally listen for God's calling. Start each morning with the prayer 'Here I am, Lord' and look for opportunities to serve others in your daily routine. Keep a journal of moments where you sense God's direction or invitation to serve.
